To the eye
A pale ruby colour, with very little colour extraction, and crystal-clear despite not being filtered.
Nose
An explosion of wild red berries (raspberry, redcurrant) and peony. There is a ‘blood-like’ and peppery note typical of a vibrant Pinot Noir.
Palate
The attack is incredibly smooth. The texture is ‘silky’, with no hint of coarse tannins. It is a noble, thirst-quenching wine with a long, briny finish.
Pairing
Beef carpaccio, semi-cooked bluefin tuna, or top-quality artisan charcuterie.
Aging potential
Best enjoyed from 2026 onwards to appreciate its youthful vigour. Can be cellared for 5 to 8 years in a temperature-controlled cellar.
