Domaine Tariquet is a family estate dating back to the early 20th century. At the time, the vineyard, ravaged by phylloxera, covered no more than 7 hectares. Until 1982, Domaine Tariquet produced exclusively Armagnac. In that year, white wine production began. The estate continues to produce Armagnac and various eaux-de-vie to this day. It is a benchmark for VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale: a blend in which the youngest Armagnac is at least four years old) enthusiasts.
