To the eye
A pale gold, crystal-clear colour with brilliant silvery highlights.
Nose
A lively and elegant bouquet. It features notes of white flowers (hawthorn), William pear and Meyer lemon, with a chalky, mineral and salty touch.
Palate
The attack is lively. The texture is rich, almost ‘full-bodied’ for an Aligoté, but immediately balanced by a briny tension that gives the wine depth. It is a wine full of vibrancy and depth.
Pairing
Oysters from the open sea, sea bass carpaccio with lime, or a plate of fried small fish.
Aging potential
It will be superb from 2026 onwards in terms of its vigour, and can be kept for 5 to 7 years without any problem.
