To the eye
A deep, intense golden colour, with brilliant highlights and a viscosity that reflects its exceptional concentration. Pairings: * Fine dining: Recommendation:

Nose
A multidimensional and majestic bouquet. It features notes of pastry butter, toasted hazelnut and sweet spices (vanilla, cardamom), interwoven with hints of ripe exotic fruits (pineapple, mango). As it breathes, a smoky, salty and almost earthy mineral dimension emerges.

Palate
The attack is colossal. The palate is overwhelming, with a rich, opulent texture that literally coats the palate. However, the hallmark of the 2013 vintage provides a monumental backbone of acidity that stretches the wine and gives it incredible structure. It strikes a perfect balance between the sun-drenched power of the terroir and the freshness of the climate.

Pairing
A wine for special occasions. It’s the perfect accompaniment to lobster Thermidor, a Bresse chicken with white truffles, or wild turbot with a Champagne reduction.

Aging potential
Serve between 12°C and 14°C. In 2026, when the wine is 13 years old, decanting for an hour will help it to express itself fully. This 2013 vintage is entering its peak of maturity. Thanks to its acidic structure and the richness of its ageing, it will continue to develop magnificently until 2040–2045.
