An emblematic figure in the Swiss canton of Valais, Marie-Thérèse CHAPPAZ took over the land bequeathed to her by her great-uncle. In 1988, after years of apprenticeship, this Valais fairy produced her first vintage. The estate now covers 10 hectares. In 1996, her passion and hard work were rewarded with the title of “Winemaker of the Year”, followed by several distinctions throughout Marie-Thérèse's career. Since 2003, the vines have been cultivated biodynamically, with care, attention and feeding to ensure optimal wine quality.

About

Historically, Dôle was the “Sunday wine”, in other words, the wine of the table. Marie-Thérèse, very attached to tradition, wished to perpetuate it by creating her own Dôle, making it a true tasting wine. Made from Pinot Noir and Gamay vines aged between 20 and 40 years, this cuvée is a real gourmet. This is a Dôle for laying down, as the Valais goldsmith intended.
