Discover Vignerons du Mont Ventoux

The Vignerons du Mont Ventoux bring together several estates located at the foot of the famous Mont Ventoux, in Vaucluse, at the heart of the southern Rhône Valley. This emblematic cooperative aims to produce wines that reflect the richness and diversity of the Ventoux terroirs, while showcasing the collective expertise of the local winemakers.

Terroir and Characteristics

The vineyard benefits from varied soils composed of rolled pebbles, sands, clay and limestone, exposed to a Mediterranean climate with strong temperature variations, promoting optimal grape ripening. The main grape varieties cultivated are Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre for reds and rosés, as well as Clairette, Grenache Blanc, and Viognier for whites.

Wine Profile

The red wines offer aromas of black fruits, spices, and garrigue, with silky tannins and a fine structure. The white wines are fresh and balanced, revealing notes of white flowers, citrus fruits, and yellow-fleshed fruits, with a distinctive minerality. The rosés are characterized by their lightness, fruitiness, and vivacity, ideal for summer meals.

Food Pairings

The Vignerons du Mont Ventoux wines pair perfectly with Mediterranean dishes, grilled meats, roasted poultry such as chicken, grilled fish, and aged cheeses like picodon or banon. They embody freshness, authenticity, and the diversity of southern Rhône wines.
