Discover Domaine Daniel Dampt

Domaine Daniel Dampt & Fils is an iconic name in the Chablis vineyard, located in the northern part of Burgundy. Boasting a centuries-old family heritage, this 30-hectare estate is renowned for its exceptional mastery of Chardonnay on the region's characteristic Kimmeridgian soils. Today, Daniel Dampt, alongside his sons Vincent and Sébastien, produces crystal-clear white wines that combine intense minerality, freshness, and vivacity.

Terroir and Characteristics

The estate’s terroir is based on Kimmeridgian soils, composed of limestone and clay, providing a unique expression of Chardonnay. The diversity of vineyard plots allows for a range of cuvées, from Petit Chablis to prestigious Chablis Premier Cru such as Vaillons, Fourchaume, Côte de Lechet, and Les Lys. Precise vinification in stainless steel tanks helps preserve the fruit’s brightness and the wines’ natural freshness.

Wine Profile

Domaine Daniel Dampt wines stand out for their typical minerality, balanced acidity, and elegant texture. They reveal a fine and complex aromatic palette with notes of citrus, white flowers, and a saline touch, signature of the Chablis terroir. These classic dry white wines from Burgundy offer remarkable aging potential.

Food Pairings

The estate's wines perfectly accompany refined dishes such as sautéed sole meunière, aged cheeses like Comté or Époisses, seafood, and poultry with sauce. Their freshness and liveliness make them ideal partners to enhance French gastronomy.
