Discover Roc Breïa
Roc Breïa is an emerging estate located in the Mâconnais region, founded by Théo Dancer, son of the renowned winemaker Vincent Dancer from Chassagne-Montrachet. This independent house produces authentic Vin de France wines that sincerely express the terroir of southern Burgundy through cuvées made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Terroir and Characteristics
The vineyard covers about 10 hectares around the village of Bray, on varied soils composed of limestone, clay, and marls. The living terroir is cultivated with respect to biodiversity and using methods close to organic farming, with a strong commitment to clean viticulture without unnecessary additives, ensuring a pure and precise expression of the soil and grape.
Wine Profile
The red wines, primarily made from Pinot Noir, stand out with their freshness, red fruit aromas, finesse, and easy drinkability. The white wines, based on Chardonnay, reveal a fine minerality, balanced acidity, and delicate notes of white flowers, orchard fruits, and wet stone. Each cuvée is vinified with minimal intervention, using indigenous yeasts and without fining or filtration, to respect the grape and soil identity.
Food Pairings
Roc Breïa wines pair perfectly with simple and flavorful dishes such as roasted poultry, grilled fish, artisanal charcuterie, summer vegetables, and aged cheeses. Their pure and digestible style also makes them excellent companions for convivial moments with friends.
