Discover Oratoire Saint Martin

The Oratoire Saint Martin Estate, located in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, is a renowned family domain known for the finesse and exceptional quality of its red wines and white wines. For generations, the Perrin family has combined tradition and innovation to highlight a unique terroir composed of rolled pebbles, sands, and clay, providing ideal conditions for the ripening of emblematic grape varieties.

Terroir and Characteristics

The vineyard covers several hectares of typical soils from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, notably the famous rolled pebbles that retain heat and promote optimal maturity. The main grape varieties cultivated are Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre for the reds, while the whites rely on rare and remarkable varieties such as Clairette and Roussanne.

Wine Profile

The red wines are distinguished by their elegance, depth, and remarkable aromatic complexity, featuring notes of dark fruits, spices, garrigue, and licorice. The structure is supported by silky tannins and a long, persistent finish. The white wines show beautiful freshness, roundness, and rich aromas combining white flowers, citrus, and a fine mineral quality.

Food Pairings

The cuvées from Oratoire Saint Martin pair perfectly with roast meats, game, braised dishes, as well as aged cheeses such as Époisses or Comté. These pairings highlight the tradition, elegance, and refinement characteristic of great wines from the Southern Rhône.
