To the eye

A pale gold colour, sparkling and crystal-clear.

Nose

Perfectly ripe fruit, as if freshly picked: Comice pear, white peach and vine peach, Granny Smith apple, followed by notes of orange blossom, honeysuckle and a hint of roasted hazelnut.

Palate

A powerful, deep palate, dense and juicy, with a smoky, slightly peppery finish. Characterised by a fine balance between sensuality and refinement, with an ethereal finesse and a zesty tang that stimulates the taste buds.

Pairing

White pudding, andouillette with mashed potatoes, baked Mont d’Or, or poultry in a creamy sauce. Serve at 12–13°C.

Aging potential

Excellent ageing potential: best enjoyed between 2027 and 2039, this still-young wine will develop greater complexity over time.
