A pale golden-yellow colour, bright, with slightly golden highlights, and beautifully clear.

Nose
An elegant and complex nose combining white flowers, hawthorn, acacia, citrus, candied lemon, white peach, ripe pear and white-fleshed fruits, with delicate notes of fresh butter, hazelnut, vanilla and brioche, and a subtle minerality.

Palate
The attack is full-bodied and silky. On the palate, it reveals lovely concentration, underpinned by remarkable freshness and a mineral edge characteristic of the great terroirs of Chassagne-Montrachet. Aromas of white fruit and citrus are accompanied by slightly buttery notes and a long, salty and very elegant finish.

Pairing
Enjoy with lobster, langoustines, pan-fried scallops, Bresse chicken in cream sauce or a morel mushroom risotto. Serve at between 11 and 13°C, allowing it to breathe slightly to reveal its full complexity.

Aging potential
Already very appealing in its youth, this 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet will age well for 8 to 12 years, developing more complex aromas of dried fruit, honey and hazelnut.
