To the eye
A bright, clear and crystalline ruby colour, with hints of raspberry, perfectly illustrating the delicate flavour profile sought by the estate.

Nose
A captivating bouquet that is quintessentially Vosne-Romanée. It bursts forth with dominant floral notes (violet, rose petal), crisp red berries (wild strawberry, redcurrant), and a medley of sweet, oriental spices, delicately integrated thanks to an extremely subtle, bespoke ageing process.

Palate
The attack is the very picture of elegance. The wine unfolds with a silky, almost ethereal texture, underpinned by a framework of ultra-fine, caressing tannins. The liveliness of the 2021 vintage brings a vibrant tension to the mid-palate, drawing the wine towards a refined, briny, floral finish with irresistible flavour.

Pairing
This masterfully crafted Pinot Noir calls for dishes of great delicacy. It will bring out the best in roast quail with grapes, duck fillet with Sichuan pepper, crispy sweetbreads or young pigeon in a casserole. As for cheeses, a Cîteaux or a Brillat-Savarin will pair beautifully with its silky texture. Best served at around 15°C to 16°C.

Aging potential
Its crisp structure, purity and the concentration derived from its low yields give it excellent ageing potential. Whilst it is tempting to enjoy it young, after decanting, for its crisp and floral profile, it will improve magnificently in the cellar over the next 8 to 15 years.
