Maurice DROUHIN, son of Joseph, was responsible for the famous Clos des Mouches de la Maison. The DROUHIN family, based in Beaune, has made a name for itself not only through its sustainable viticulture practices, but also through its conquest of territory in Oregon, USA.

About

In the past, bees were known as “honey flies”, and this vineyard was home to a number of beehives: thus Clos des Mouches was born. Maurice Drouhin, son of the estate's founder, took possession of the property in the early 1920s. Produced in equal parts red and white, it has made the reputation of Maison Drouhin.
