To the eye
A deep garnet colour with cherry-red highlights; bright and crystal-clear.
Nose
An expressive and vibrant bouquet. It features black cherry, crushed raspberry and a hint of garrigue (thyme, bay leaf). A peppery, floral note (rose petal) adds complexity to the whole.
Palate
The attack is rich and full-bodied. The palate is smooth and juicy, characterised by a fleshy yet supple texture. The tannins are fine and silky. The absence of oak ageing allows the fruit to shine through, supported by a mineral edge and a fresh, almost minty finish.
Pairing
Perfect with a roast leg of lamb, rabbit with prunes or lasagne with duck confit. Open one hour before serving. Serve at 16°C.
Aging potential
In 2026, it is bursting with youthfulness. Whilst it is delicious to drink now, it has the structure to age harmoniously over the next 5 to 10 years.
