To the eye
A bright, vivid yellow colour.
Nose
The nose is initially somewhat restrained, but then reveals notes of roasted hazelnuts, pear, apple, white flowers and buttery pastries, with hints of lemon zest, nectarine and a smoky, flinty note typical of Puligny.
Palate
Medium to full-bodied on the palate, silky and well-defined, with great concentration. The structure, linear and taut, is underpinned by lively acidity that promises excellent ageing potential, leading to a salty and slightly spicy finish.
Pairing
Poultry in cream sauce, lobster, pan-fried scallops, or fine fish in sauce. Serve at 12–13°C.
Aging potential
Excellent ageing potential: should be left to age for at least 3 to 5 years in the bottle, with an estimated ideal drinking window between 2028 and 2035.
