SAINT-VERAN CLOS LA BOISSEROLLE
Le Clos is located in the Saint-Véran appellation zone, in the commune of Prissé. It covers 1.65 hectares, and is the only vineyard on their estate. Until 2002, the harvest was vinified by a group of producers; it was only in 2003, by vinifying on the estate, that the quality and specificity of the wine produced at Clos La Boisserolle became apparent. The estate's method of cultivation aims to respect the environment as much as possible. That's why they went organic in 2018. Weeding has been done mechanically since 2012, harvesting is manual, and vinification is rigorously carried out. Part of the wine is aged in oak barrels.

This 1.65 ha Clos is François Girard's only vineyard. Since the 2003 vintage, it has been vinified on the estate and, since 2018, converted to organic farming. This gourmet Chardonnay can be found at chef Georges Blanc's table in Vonnas.
