To the eye
The colour is a brilliant golden yellow with slight greenish highlights. Its clarity and brilliance suggest a wine of great concentration and remarkable elegance.

Nose
The nose is highly complex, revealing aromas of candied lemon, pear, white peach and yellow-fleshed fruits, accompanied by notes of fresh butter, hazelnut, almond, brioche, white flowers and an intense minerality reminiscent of chalk and flint.

Palate
The palate is full-bodied, deep and remarkably precise. A generous texture is perfectly balanced by a mineral edge and perfectly controlled acidity. Flavours of white fruit, citrus, fresh butter and dried fruit linger on an exceptionally long, salty and supremely pure finish, characteristic of the greatest Corton-Charlemagnes.

Pairing
This 2022 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru will perfectly complement refined dishes such as roast lobster, pan-fried scallops, turbot with beurre blanc sauce, sole meunière or Bresse poultry with morel mushrooms. It will also pair beautifully with a truffle risotto or a long-aged Comté. To fully appreciate the richness of this Burgundy Grand Cru, we recommend serving it at between 12 and 13 °C, after allowing it to breathe for around thirty minutes.

Aging potential
Produced from a vintage of exceptional quality, this 2022 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has an ageing potential of 15 to 25 years, or even longer in an ideal cellar. Over time, it will develop aromas of honey, white truffle and dried fruit, along with exceptional complexity.
